Raju Mahajan, Esq. Addresses Digital Disinformation at Bay of Bengal Conversation 2026

Raju Law’s Founder and Principal Attorney, Raju Mahajan, Esq., joined the Bay of Bengal Conversation 2026, the region’s leading international forum on geopolitics, technology and governance, hosted by the Centre for Governance Studies (CGS) at Pan Pacific Sonargaon, Dhaka, from October 3–5, 2026. On October 4, he spoke at the Evening Salon session “Truth Under Attack: Disinformation in the Digital Age.” He shared the panel with Kallol Bhattacherjee, Senior Assistant Editor of The Hindu (India), and Pyrou Chung, Director of the East West Management Institute (Australia), with Irfan Yar, International Relations and Security Analyst (Canada), as moderator.

The session examined how deepfakes, coordinated misinformation and algorithmic manipulation threaten public trust and democratic institutions, and how societies can protect information integrity while upholding freedom of expression. The three-day conference brought together more than 200 speakers from over 100 countries, including heads of state, policymakers, diplomats and business leaders.
